Just a random thought but AU where Asami is present during Skybound and everything starts the same but instead of Flintlocke being the one to start the mutiny in "The Last Resort" , Asami is , because Nya will never be nor manage to replace her mother

(also referring to your last skybound post) after that happens they might go the "Mummy" way (depends how much you headcanon he loves his daugter)

That actually sounds very interesting and I have a dialogue for the scene but just to say Asami is always preset in all of my Skybound Au. And just a quick note Nadakhan loves his daughter but in his own way.

Asami: Have you lost your mind, father?!?

Nadakhan: What in the bloody hell you are talking, Morgiana? (Morgiana is Asami’s real name that Delara and Nadakhan gave to her. Asami is the name she gets from her adoptive grandma who raised her.)

Adami: Do you really think that’s what mom would have wanted?!? To replace her with some girl that looks like her?!? Like as if she is some kind of doll to you? Like a toy, you can replace?!

Nadakhan: Don’t question my authorities, you foolish girl! I’m your father and you do what I say!

Asami pulls out a sword: Then this is minutely cause I won’t stand here and do nothing qgints your titania! Nya will never be or manage to replace my mother!

Asami tries to fight Nadakhan but he is stronger and grabs her by the neck; You moron! Have you learn nothing!? I’m the captain here! I’m your father so you will do what I say or you will regret!

Asami spits in Nadakhan’s face; Never, you monster!

Nadakhan slams Asami againts a wall and in his mind he says: Well the curse on the necklace is getting weaker. I need to do something about it or she will ruin everything I have been working on.

Nadakhan: Flintlocke! Lock her in her room and don’t let her out till I say so!

Flintlocke: Yes captain!

(There Nadakhan uses some of his magic on the necklace Asami is wearing so she can be under his control. He loves cursing things. The curse is so Asami will be obedient to him and only him and follow his orders without question. He will go the “Mummy plan” aka he will do the rutial so Delara will be again with them.)

thinking about ninjago s6,,, specifically nadakhan and his relationship with his crew.

i just think it’s so interesting and also think it’s bull crap that he never cared for nor wanted them. first of all, jay was also under the assumption that he didn’t actually care about delara which he very obviously does, as we can see in ep10. and jay was also just trying to escape and was using any advantage he had—his voice was his biggest advantage at the time. but it was around the time jay came to the conclusion that nadakhan didn’t care about delara when he told flintlocke that nadakhan was just using him…

see, in ep2 after retrieving the realm crystal, nadakhan spends the night having fun with his crew and they all seem genuinely happy to be there! clancee himself states multiple times that he has no reason to wish for anything and that he best fits in with and feels welcomed with the crew. they’re singing and dancing and having fun… and when nadakhan says he’s going home, he invites them all with. he had every intention of bringing them with him not as servants or underlings but friends…

i can’t help but wonder what would have been different had delara not been dead. had the cursed realm not been destroyed, thus destroying djinjago in response.

because the thing is: it’s after he gets the sword and swears revenge when nadakhan begins hiding things from his crew. it’s then when he becomes more and more desperate. the further the season goes, the more jay pisses him off and thwarts him, the angrier and more desperate he becomes. you could call it a corruption of power, the things we do / give up for love, or even recklessness due to strong emotions.

when it comes to the crew’s betrayals, i really think jay planting the seed is what did it. flintlocke was already upset that nadakhan wasn’t sharing plans with him

clancee and dogshank are the ones hard to believe

nadakhan would’ve kept his crew around had the desperation not grown as terribly as audrey two and consumed him, had clancee not whispered to jay where the venom was. i honestly believe jay thought he was speaking the truth. if s6 emphasizes anything, it's that words are powerful. jay used his words to win in the end and to plant the seeds that eventually overtook and defeated nadakhan.

nadakhan seemed to have lost faith in his friends and that was his biggest downfall and that is what made him lose everything in the end. like yes, he's the villain and tbh i'm glad jay and the ninja won, but gosh if it doesn't just break my heart as i watch him slowly lose faith in his friends/team throughout s6 and how they probably wouldn't have even become proper villains had delara not died,,,

Ficmas Day Seven - Stories

AU: Ninjago Rewrite

Characters: Nya, Delara

How in the Cursed Realm had she ended up here? Nya thought to herself as she looked out the window of the makeshift room she had been given, looking out at the floating land masses that had once been part of Ninjago.

I can still hear you just so you know. The voice said, ringing in her head. Curse that wish, that stupid wish Nadakhan had forced one of the nameless crewmates to make, to bring her, Delara, back.

Only it somehow hadn't worked fully, Nadakhan having twisted the words he wanted to hear so badly that he had forced another to say them on himself, leaving her with the spirit of his dead girlfriend in her mind.

Was this how it was for Lloyd with Morro? Because if it was, it sucked.

"Yeah, I know you can hear me, don't worry." Nya finally responded, though Delara, didn't sound too happy.

No need to get snarky, I'm just trying to let you know.

"Why do you care? You're probably just happy to finally be back with Nadakhan, I'm just a means to an end after all."

Happy? Do you think I'm happy about this? I was free of him, finally able to live how I wanted, sure I died pretty young considering I was in a realm I knew nothing about and was on my own. But I was free, free and rid of him. Now look at me, stuck in the mind of some kid.

"Kid? Really?"

What? You're young-looking, and it's been a while since I've seen another person from Ninjago, for all I know people look different nowadays to how they used to.

She did have a point Nya guessed. She had to stop forgetting that this was Soto's sister, of course, she hadn't been around for a while, Soto and his crew had died years ago after all. Though knowing that Delara was sent to another realm? Yeah, that didn't sit right with her, it felt like another Elira situation.

And they all saw how that ended up last time.

Right, damnit, Delara could hear her.

"Don't worry about it, she was just another ghost was all."

You've been in the same situation as this before?

"Yeah, I guess you could say that," Nya said with a slight shrug. "It wasn't the exact same, but kind of similar."

Was it you that it happened to as well?

"No, a friend."

I'm sorry to hear that, I can tell that you aren't comfortable, which is completely fair on your part, I don't think I would be either. I just had to deal with Nadakhan, I can't imagine dealing with something like this on top of it as well… I'm… I'm sorry this has happened.

Sorry? She was actually sorry? Wasn't this meant to be Nadakhan's 'beloved' or however he put it?

How was she this nice in comparison to him?

"You said you hated him, right? Can I ask about that? Mostly because he seems so infatuated by you."

Sure. I'd rather people know the truth anyway. But basically, I was taken as a prize, something for Nadakhan to hold over my brother's head all because they hated each other, were constantly at one another thoats. Soto tried everything to get back at him, but with how hectic everything was, I knew I was going to have to help. So I went along with everything, pretended to fall, and that's how I got just enough of Nadakhan's trust to find out about the Tiger Widow's venom, to learn about where it was.

And that's how I found out about the map, and though it was a pain to, we found a way to communicate, and Soto managed to get the lamp with the map on it from Nadakhan's ship. Then it was just a simple case of trapping him in that teapot.

Not to say that I didn't try my hand at ending him without it, but nothing ever worked. Thankfully he didn't think someone like his 'love' was capable of something like that, so the blame and punishment always fell on someone else in the crew.

But even with him finally gone, it was too late for me. I was deemed part of his crew and thrown off into some realm I didn't even know. I was able to survive for a while, but I didn't last as long as I wanted

Ok, skybound is a well written season, but I gotta admit there's some things that they could've changed. for starters, let's say with Jay's wishes, he was just desperate for nya and also trying to make her happy when he might end up in a bad mental state throughout the relationship of he continued to do that. the way he found out he was adopted shouldn't have been through a letter from the mailman that letter and also finding out that his favorite actor was his father. With the way he made the wish for everyone to forget besides him and nya, I wonder if he ever told her the truth about that house actually being inherited to him by his biological father, and if she knew what he went through on the boat/bounty with nadakhan and his crew. Come to think of it, did he ever ask Ed and Edna about his mother instead of his father? because he doesn't know about libber/past lighting master being his mother? Did nya and jay ever tell their closest ones about what happened during that time after the last wish? did nya tell Kai and Lloyd about the whole marriage thing with nadakhan, since she looked like Delara? Did jay tell Cole about all the wishes everyone made, or about how he lied to all of them about wish first, maybe even how he was treated by nadakhans crew? I wonder if nya and jay mentioned Echo to Zane or accidentally did so, as they talk about the horrible memories together from time to time. I wonder if Cole, Zane, Lloyd, and Kai ever accidentally heard anything as the other 2 were talking about it but kept it to themselves. i wanna know if any of this occurred during the present timeline.

I feel like skybound could've been better, more on this later

Nadakhan is such an enigma to me

Like, reeaaally long

Lotsa reading. 

In 6.1 he gets released from his teapot by Clouse. He then goes on to grant wishes for Clouse. He then causes massive indiscribable pain for clouse. We don’t care because it is Clouse. (Over the past month I realised this isn’t true but the draft is old so stay with me.) He then goes out to the city, learns about his crew being stranded (and Delara being dead, I’ll get to that) and goes after the Ninja to get the realm crystal that public service AI so stupidly informed him of. Big whoopity doo, pretty decent introduction. 

In 6.2 he gets the crystal and doesn’t do much.

Then we get to  6.3 however, where he frees his crew and the celebrate now having the realm crystal by getting drunk on their ship together while singing shanties and dancing drunkenly, it looks like a vibe good for them. He then tells them to basically retire since pirates aren’t really a thing anymore. He tells them that he got them back because as captain he couldn’t leave his crew marooned and specifically states that, as they are now safe, he is returning to his homerealm where he was banished/exiled from for unkown reasons (or just hated, works too I guess). The crew then, out of their own free will, follows him. ALL of them. And he looks genuinly surprised and happy about it. They then ask about the realm, he explains with pure joy yadayada. BUT THEN we all remember this. They get there and Djinjago is falling apart because the Cursed realm died. He sees his father who explains it.  Nadakhan the OFFERS TO SAVE ALL OF THEIR PEOPLE WITH THE CRYSTAL but in a honestly touching scene his father gives him the sword before dying. The crew gets Nadakhan out of there and they get back. When they get home he vows to take revenge on the ninja while assuring the crew he has a plan. 

So to recap, we have an incredibly devoted main antagonist who deeply cares about his underlings, who has some kind of tragic backstory which seemingly ended bittersweet involving his fatehr, who was struck by unfathomable tragedy ÁND who has every reason ever to target the ninja? HELL YEAH SIGN ME UP! That sound like just about the clsoest you can get to a sympathetic and ruthless villain, I’m here for it. I also wanna mention how devoted the enitre crew was to him, which might surprise you if you’ve seen the tall tales shorts. I guess it just means he’s a really kind captain or something, I really don’t know. EIther that or some brainwashing/stockholm syndrome is in play here. I dunno, I’m not a psychiatrist. 

Back in track in 6.4, the Misfortune’s Keep flies now and he finds Nya and Jay. He gets Jay to make his first wish and gets the lower members of the old crew back. Then it ends with his trapping Kai. Pretty tame all things considered.

In 6.5 we get Flinlocke’s first questioning of Nadakhan. Unlike most lackies in shows however he directly confronts Nadakhan about it without beating around the bush. Yet he also stays respectful ánd states exactly what his expectations are, implying that those to are on almost equal footing with each other. Nadakhan stays calm and shows the crew the new Djinjago. He also specifically states that he cannot do this alone and he needs his crew with his. They then follow and everything is good. Nadakhan does say, and I quote, “This is what you sacrifice(d) for, not some girl.  A home.” Implying that he kinda misses his ex, but he has gotten over her. We also saw this very briefly in 6.3 All good and dandy. Moving on from dead people is good (I say that as if that isn’t the most ironic thing I’ve ever said). Nadakhan then takes Zane and Jay at the end of the episode. Whoopity doo change of the satus quo.

6.6 starts of with Nadakhan starting his Jay torture (mildy for now, it’ll pick up later) since he has that grudge against the ninja and since Jay hasn’t made his 3rd wish. Clancee also mentions how Nadakhan ahs brought them together and made them whole. Then we get to the dinner, where they sart talking about Nya.  Nadakhan tells him about his wedding plans and infinite wishes with Jay then claiming He does not care about a new world Nor about Nya’s heart. Jay says he never loved Delara and just wanted what she could give him in a marriage. Then Jay needs to fight in the pirate gang fight and tries to start a coup which fails painfully.

To dwell on that dinner scene a little longer, it still made (enough) sense. One should always expect that he missis his homeland, and the people, instead of just the land. The cheap remake wouldn’t have fixed it. He’s doing the floating islands thing for the sake of the ceremony working. He also however mentions that he just needs to marry someone, anyone, and doesn’t really care about winning Nya’s heart. By this logic, couldn’t he just take any random person who would be to terrified to say no instead of someone who would flee overseas to avoid his just so we could have some ‘damsel in distress’ finale? If the problem is that he wants someone who looks like Delara he could also just use those infinite wishes to wish for the historically most drastic plastic surgery ever. And if it was that he wanted Delare, why didn’t he deny Jay’s claims? In fact, why has he seen mostly indifferent to that point except for seeing Nya in the newspaper and in the city at lunch? Is is just that he doesn’t care what Jay thinks? I mean, kudos to him for not being sensitive enough to let it get to him but still. And if he wants infinite wishes, why not tell his crew? Sure they might turn on him, but with their loyalty I doubt he’d have any sort of trouble convincing them that he’s use the wishes for them as well to make a new and better world. And honestly, at this point I still mostly believed that to be the case.

6.7. Aside from him having some (pretty cute) interactions with Flintlocke and Clancee about some idiots and taking a cloak outside, he also takes the ninja prisoner after a failed rescue attempt and takes Nya back to his quarters, He tries to make a deal about bargaining her friends lives which leades to the “fuck around and find out: wishing edition” scene. He grants the wishes like he has to, twisting them jsut enough to keep the scene going. It isn’t until the end where in pure rage he forces Clancee to make a wish to get rid of Lloyd and Cole (even though he could have just struck them with the blade, but I guess That Would Have Spoiled the finale. Then something interesting? confusing? happens; for the first time (as far as I can tell) he is really taing his anger out on the crew, Flintlocke in this case, as he tells him he can;t come back until he’s found the escaped duo. He also threatens him with Zane’s second wish (clever) to make sure no harm comes to Nya. 

6.8. He becomes reckless/agressive and just orders to basically take everyone prisoner. He learns about the tiger widow venom and starts to think about how the duo might use it. This is where Flinlocke starts his coup, after telling the captain to forget about the girl, as it was never about her but about building a home for all of them. Again, if Nadakhan had just mentioned the wedding thing like he does later to the others, this would have easily been avoided. But no, he lashes out on not just Flintlocke but the entire crew after FLintlocke tells him that he’s won and that it’s enough (positively). And he now does come clean about the infinite wishes, but it’s too late for Flintlocke. Again, no problem if he’d been upfront. I still don’t get why he wasn’t, since he truly treasured and appericiated (or seemed to) that crew in the firest half of the season. His lashing out is so stupid and screws him over here. But okay, after FLinlocke’s coup he now just scares the others into following him, which is about the first plan of action when you’ve got a group of followers, a group of friends, thát loyal. But no, he makes Clancee use another wish to find the couple, they all raid the lighthouse and then take Nya. Great, onto the finale. 

6.9 He goes over the wedding ceremony wirh Clancee (who states that her objecting would not matter to the ceremony, once again implying that he could have taken literally anyone else to marry) He then lashes uot when a scout informs him of the ninja, orders literally everyone to be guarding the place and leaves to prepare. When he gets to Nya she plays into the Delare bit (blegh) but to absolutely EVERYONE’S suprise. HE ACTUALLY SEEMS HAPPY ABOUT IT SO WHAT THE HECK. He then says how he and Delara had dreamed of this moment but never accomplished it, which also AGAIN CONTRADICTS EVERYTHING ELSE WE HAVE SEEN ABOUT HIS FEELINGS TOWARDS HIS DEAD EX GIRLFRIEND. Yet inspite of that (temporary jump to 6.10) he doesn’t actually seem to want to posses Nya’s body with Delara’s spirit until she ‘betrays him’, implying that he didn’t care so much after all??? BUt he goes with her with all the pet names and bullshittery and puts down his sword for her (after she plays the daddy’s boy card) . Sure, be more stupid Ig. 

6.10 So finally last episode. So The other main crewmembers are the only audience (implying they are still relatively happy to follow Nadakhan since they don’t seem scared of this ceremony) and... Flintlocke? Sure- I guess he’s harmless now and all but... whatever, I’m tired. The wedding continues with Clancee reading it (which seems stupid as balls since Dogshank is literally RIGHT THERE) and Nadakhan calling Nya out for being distancy. She makes her say yes, ceremony is official because with Djinn law you aparently don’t need to course and he becomes all powerful. He fights the ninja, puts Nya to sleep, then beats the ninja and then... here it comes.... BRINGS BACK DELARA??? OKAY WHY??? This is probably the main reason I’ve made this post, becasue I need someone to explain this to me. Yes we have seen small parts of him maybe caring about her, but just as often, if not more often, we have seen him actively deny any importance she had! FLINLOCKE had more of a reaction to seeing Nya! Why?! 

But then- Clancee starts with his big speech. And in it- he- I can’t. I literally can’t. He starts of saying that he “Never liked the way he treated people”. *breathes in*.  WHAT THE ACTUAL EVERLOVING FUCK? This goes against LITERALLY EVERYTHING we have EVER seen about Nadakhan ánd the relation with his crew this season! SO unless they’re all somehow 20x as talented actors as Harumi was to all pretend to like Nadakhan that makes absolutely no sense whatsoever! And after Clancee’s speech he gets rid of him, Monkey wretch and Doubloon, leaving Flintlocke and Dogshank to go help the ninja. But fine, cut to him and Delara acting... truly in love? After he had gotten his wishes no less! Just saying, If I had infinite wishes and loved someone as much as he seems to love and desire her I would have done so from the get-go and never evern entertained Nya’s play becasue how dare she act like my deceased beloved! But no, now that he has infinite wishes he just makes statues instead of wishing the ninja to be tortured or his entire fucking homerealm - you know, the thing that strated all of this? - to be brough back, cause fuck that I wana poof excessive statues for my new wife whom I technically didn’t marry and my enemies to be turned into statues through instead of wish so I can show her How Cool I Am. Well, at least the couple seems to share the tyrannic and deranged part so they bond over that. 

Someone, for the love of whatever holy figure you or anyone might believe in please PLEASE explain this character to me. 

Does he care about his crew? Did he suddenly stop caring?

Does he care about his homeworld? Did he ever really care or did he just want to find a replacement wife there? Unlikely, since that would have been the smart thing to do in Ninjago too. 

Did he care about Delara? Did he get over her only for the feelings to come back? Those feeling seemed too strong too poof into existence. And then why would he follow Nya’s honestly offensive roleplay if that was the case?

The part of the crew honestly bothers me a little more than it should, just because of teh inconsistencies. Especially if you’ve read the Splinter series (which isn’t actually canon but could technically be considered as such) you read again about how much the crew cared about Nadakhan. So why would Clancee say that he ated the way he spoke to them?? I just--- Someone save me, please...

Im gonna be completely honest, out of all the seasons, I remember skybound the most

Maybe because it was the first time the series took Jay away from the comedic role and gave him development

Deus Ex - A Criminal Past - more than just a prequel dlc story.

The more i play A Criminal Past, the more i wonder how much of it actually happened and how much of it is a memory installed in Jensen as a control, as it's shown he already talked about the mission before.

( We pretty much know Jensen's memories have been tampered with whilst he was in facility 451, whether clone or not, he cannot remember anything of that first year back from the dead/coma/rebirth.

The ending, you as Jensen can choose to tell Delara what you did with the rogue agent. ( Even after just playing the scene, you can tell her something else.) You can tell them you cut him loose or brought him in which Delera remarks as being unusual. Let him go, she sounds confused and if you brought him in, she asks if you've spoken to the agent since, she seems uncertain and asks for clarification. If you say you killed him, she seems happy and remarks 'excellent'. Because killing the 'target' is the right choice in the memory, that is in keeping with the memory implant and subliminal programming. (possible training for when he tracks down Janus? ) So did the mission actually happen? I think so. It would be in the Interpol files that he was sent on that mission whilst with the US division of TF29. He could ask his former US division leader Christian Jarreau, who from the email between them seems on very good terms and also shows he was upset when Jensen got transferred. It could have been his first mission after recovery from the facility. A test run to see what his empathy, his natural predilection to helping against tyranny, to rooting out those he thought were corrupt, was still there.

Now did he kill Guerrero back then? He could easily check, which, i think he has (possibly with Juggernaut or other hacker friends help) and he is playing Delara. That's why you can give different answers at the end, even totally different to how you played it, how it happened. "You want me to tell you a story?"

There are some things that do seem odd during the mission . The statue that's in Delara's office is EXACTLY the same as in the Warden's office in the prison. EXACTLY, only bigger. Jensen even focuses on the statue in her office at the beginning of the dlc, holding it in his hands. That's no coincidence. Then of course there is that last statement. Jensen, smirks, almost knowingly - "You know Guerrero was right." Delara - "About what?" Jensen - "The Terror attack, It never happened. Got to wonder what else he was right about." Jensen walks out of Delara's office, not looking back. Delara looks worried, pulls out her phone to call.....Lucius? Is Jensen realising things about his memories, his impulses are not matching up? I believe by now he knows Delara is something more than she appears to be. He doesn't trust her and alot of their conversation is verbal battle of seeing who will slip up first.

In the last conversation, you can deflect before giving an answer- Jensen - " What do you mean, time can change alot of things? Are you saying i'm forgetting what happened?" Delara - "No, not at all, it's just....I've looked at all the reports and there are a few small inconsistencies, that's all. Look it's not important. What's important is how you remember it...." Remember thanks to Sarif's tech in his brain, he's should have a pretty fool proof memory recollection in there. If he is questioning himself, or questioning why they are asking him again, then i think that rings alarm bells that something isnt right. I still don't know what to fully make of that DLC. but it sure isn't what it appears at face value. I just hope we get to see the third game what it meant. And Adam gets to wipe that smug smile off Delara's face.

Ninjago - Non-Human Au

((Here’s the more detailed version of what’s going down in the Non-human au. Kai’s design has also changed a bit from when I first drew him a while ago.))

Zane Julien

Zane becomes a golden nindroid.

After the overlord was defeated for the second time and Zane rebuilt himself, something was different. He still had his element, but some of the gold power was there as well.

During his time at Chen’s, the golden power solidified and bits of gold started to grow out of his body, eventually stopping but he now had unremovable bits of gold sticking out of his body.

He can’t quite access the power in the elements, but sometimes certain parts will light up with the elements of his friends (eg. one of the bits of gold sparking electricity or setting itself on fire). His ice element has also become more powerful because of this, sometimes he accidentally freezes things though.

He isn’t quite alone in this new form though.

Kai Smith

Kai becomes an Anacondrai.

When Skylor and Kai had been caught by Chen, just before the spell is said, Chen decides to be ‘generous’, because he did make Skylor so happy. He gets his cultists to tattoo an anacondrai on Kai, allowing him the ‘honour’ of turning into an anacondrai.

As an anacondrai, Kai would look similar to all of the regular anacondrai warriors, except for some more reddish scales in places and a frill of fire (like Aspheera) he can choose to have on or off.

Cole Brookstone

Cole becomes a ghost dragon.

It’s a personal head canon that all ghost dragons were once ghosts that had gone insane and turned into dragons as a result. During the battle against the preeminent, Cole has to force this transformation wither to save himself or someone else. By the time he turned back, there was a few permanent additions to his new form.

He had wings, horns, claws and a tail, his teeth were sharper and sometimes his eyes would flash red. He could breathe a ghost-fire like substance. He was a bit more resistant to water now, but not by much.

After the day of the departed, the rift of return is unable to make Cole human again due to his ghost dragon transformation. But, it does make him a bit more solid and help with his disappearing issue.

Jay Walker

Jay becomes a tiger widow hybrid.

He barely notices as he’s dangling over the edge of a cliff with the others that the tiger widow’s fangs graze his leg. Then he doesn’t have much time to dwell on it as Nadakahn and his pirates snatch him away.

The transformation happens over a few days on Misfortune’s Keep, only making his time there worse. he grows dark brown and stripy fur all over his body, six extra eyes, two extra pairs of arms, claws, fangs and venom. 

After the final wish, he thought everything would go back to normal. But the changes just started again

Nya Smith

Nya becomes a djinn.

After being forced to marry Nadakahn and Delara being revived through her, Nadakahn used his newly found powers to begin her transformation into a djinn. When the tiger widow venom was used, she wasn’t ‘djinn enough’ to survive the venom yet, so Jay still had a reason to make his final wish.

She now has four arms, orange skin and a wispy djinn tail. Due to her legs being replaced by the djinn tail, she now has to float everywhere. She also has djinn abilities, such as being able to teleport and grant wishes, though these wishes often go wrong unintentionally and Nya hates granting them.

Like Jay, the final wish didn’t completely reverse the effects of her transformation, instead making it start over.

Lloyd Garmadon

Lloyd becomes a dragoni.

When he goes down into the oni cloud with Garmadon, the oni energy in the cloud starts reacting with his oni blood. The transformation starts a few days after the oni are defeated. His oni traits started surfacing, his dragon traits doing the same to retain balance.

He grew wings, a tail, two extra arms, dragon claws, oni teeth and horns. He gained black markings over his hands and arms and gold markings on his face and torso. Scales and fur pop up in patches over his body, mostly with green, gold or black in colouring.

The transformation isn’t quick or easy, but once it’s done, Lloyd is left looking a lot more like ‘god’s grandson’ then he did before.

(And yes, I’ve seen every season at least twice now haha,, I’ve probably watched season 6 now like--three timesghjgh)

The misfortunes keep crew, MKC because I’m lazy, were wooonderful. I love each of them and their personalities and how they bounce off of each other.

(First, I wanna say that I loved how they all, mostly, came to rise against Nadakhan after he didn’t need them anymore, and how they all chose to fight for what’s right.... THIS GOT ERASED THANKS TO J A Y,,, My children had such lovely arcs and that just whoop gone,,,)

Now onto my opinions on the actual crew.

Clancee is just an absolute baby and I think he has some confidence issues of self-confidence problems. He’s jittery but generally nice. He really only joined the MKC because he felt like he didn’t belong to the serpentine, which is something that really hits to home. I’m sure a lot of people have felt that way in their lives at least once and it was really nice to see that, although his position wasn’t the best, he still felt needed on the crew. He enjoyed being there even if he was just the around cleanin’ the place. It’s what made him happy.

He was also the nicest (most of the time) to Jay when he was captured, because they were actually vary similar. And he was also one of the first to see that maaayybe Nadakhan aint so great after all.

Doubloon was fun because we hadn’t really had many enemies that knew spinjitzu at the time S6 came out, and it was nice to think about how he came to learn it. I also like how it shows another side to Nadakhan kinda. Since yes, Doubloon was trying to steal from him, but Nadakhan was still impressed by his ability and took him on board. 

Which either makes me think that Nadakhan did genuinely have a soft spot for em and his crew, or he was truly using them all as a means to an end, even before they were known pirates. He’s the mute, freakin cool, badass mo fo of the crew and I like em.

Dogshank is wonderful all across the board. I found it so funny that she’s freakin huge and could easily whip yo ass faster the the weekend---Her interactions with Nya always made me laugh because I feel like, under different circumstances, Dogshank would easily be able to fit in the “girls club” with like--Skylor, Pixal. She always wanted to be the best at whatever she did, and stand out in a crowd.

So Nadakhan took that literally of course and she got turned into the ninjago kulk. I do like though, how she embraced it and straight up enjoys throwing people across roomsjghgj. She’s a true role model ✊😔

Monkey Wretch I often forget about, but I love how sassy he iskhjgkjh. the knowledge he wasn’t always a monkey though makes me kinda sad. He’s a genius, and a primate,, But he’s damn good at what he does. There isn’t much I can say on em, Since he doesn’t speak and he’s pretty much the animal sidekick of the crew, but I don’t doubt that he probably wishes he could be human again, and holds some resentment against Nadakhan. But considering he made the Misfortunes Keep, he stays.

(fun fact, at this point, i accidentally closed the tab and nearly lost literally all of thisjjjgj)

And last, but not least (the OG crew, considering), good ol’ Flinty, or Flintlocke. God I can’t express how much I love Flinty. He went from being Nadakhan’s trusted second in command, to being thrown off the backseat and betraying him. How you could slowly see him beginning to believe Jay, and that spark of hope you have when you think he’s going to help Jay escape. Then when he looses his ability to shoot, it all comes crashing down.

He was defined, in the MKC, as the long-shot-shooter with impeccable aim. But when that’s gone, what is he? Is he really useful to Nadakhan now? What if Jay was right, and Nadakhan doesn’t need him anymore?

Flinty had made himself into his own weapon, and lost his confidence because of a seed of doubt. So the moment he gains that confidence back, not from Nadakhan, but from the people he thought were his enemies, he has a new reason to trust again and helps them. I just feel bad though, because although he hit Nadakhan with the poison, he also hit Nya. And because of that, all his development was wiped away.

I like the MKC, they were entertaining, they were scary when they needed to be, and the were ruthless. But what I find the saddest thing, is that after they had all been brought together again, they had all expected to go back to the old days. Sailing as one big family with Nadakhan leading them through storms, and stealing whatever they wanted. They all had reasons to put trust into each other and when Nadakhan was imprisoned in the teapot, and they were all lost from each other. They just lost their family.

Which is why I lead onto Nadakhan. He always wanted more and had no restraint when it came to having the biggest loot pile, but he had his crew. And he had Delara. Nadakhan likely did reciprocate that familial feeling and Delara’s affections, and probably did tricked them in the beginning, but they were generally happy anyways. Which makes his betrayal so painful. They joined him because of what he promised them, they got all that they wanted because of Nadakhan.

He left his home and his father for adventure and love, so when he returned only to see it crumbling. That was his breaking point. He had gained so much in Ninjago but lost his home and everything he held dear. And that’s when he decided to rebuild his home and he would do anything to achieve that. Nadakhan didn’t see that all that he wanted was not what he needed. He lost something equally as great as infinite wishes. He lost the people that put their trust in him.

But through grief, not only over his realm, but of his love, couldn’t see that. Which resulted in his downfall.

Like a lot of the villains in Ninjago, sometimes it’s circumstance, luck, or bad timing. The Serpentine, the Nindroids, Morro, Harumi, even Zane falls under this category now (ouch).

He’s a good villain because under the manipulation, under the lack of fear or consequence, he’s just angry. That is not saying, that it isn’t his fault. A lot of the things he did before were bad and his whole crew knew this, but because of bad timing and luck, it all came crashing down.

So in short, the MKC are pretty neat 👌👌

Nesryn x Sartaq baby headcanons

Meet all the hot royal people! There’s a lot of them!

- So you see, with all the other royal people it was different

- They just have to produce one heir. One.

-For Nesryn and Sartaq? at least two

-Preferably way more

-The current Khagan is in good health, though, so they have a bit to wait

-Which is good, because Nesryn is still mildly freaked out about the whole 'might become empress of the mightiest kingdom in the world' thing

-With her whole family living in the Southern Continent now, Nesryn is content

-She and Sartaq spend a lot of time in the mountains with the ruks

-And she actually has a part in Borte and Yeran's wedding. Nesryn and Borte pretty much become bffs.

-However, duty calls, and Sartaq must return

-And though he says she can stay in the mountains, Nesryn decides to return with him

-All of the royal siblings have pretty much accepted Nesryn as their new sister. (Some more than others, cough cough Arghun)

-And so they don't mind letting her sit in on important meetings.

-In fact, her advice is often valued

-Although the current empress is a very quiet woman, she takes a liking to Nesryn quickly. She can be seen sometimes, whispering to her son about what a good choice he made in wife

-Though she is very happy in the Southern Continent, Nesryn does miss her friends a lot

-She writes, but it can take months for mail to reach the mainland, so sometimes she just doesn't even try

-When the first Peace Ball is held, Nesryn is over the moon

-But it just takes so much time to get there and back that she and Sartaq admit they really can't go every year. Instead they settle for every other year

-Duva has had her baby, a little boy named Taran

-After his birth, Nesryn mentions that Sartaq should probably tell his siblings what the two of them have planned

-Which he insists she must do as well, since she helped him think of what to say

-So the future empress and emperor tell the other royal siblings this:

-They will break the tradition of killing the opposing siblings. They will leave them to live their lives, so long as they never pose a threat of any kind

-And it hurts Sartaq's heart, but he must say his conditions

-If either of them find out about scheming or betrayal, all the siblings and their children lose their lives. They will not tolerate anything of the sort

-But, thankfully, even Arghun and Hasar, notorious for their scheming, agree to the terms

-Nesryn and Sartaq get married about a year later

-Hasar, Duva, Renia, Delara, and Borte are all there to help her get dressed, and Nesryn has never felt happier

-At least, until she is officially married to the love of her life

-Chaol and Yrene actually make it just in time, and all of Nesryn's nieces, nephews, and little cousins are running around. They've even adopted one-year-old Taran into their group

-The two retreat to the mountains for a month-long honeymoon, because they can

-And they spend a long time in just pure marriage bliss

-Eventually, they return

-And Nesryn gets to work helping out

-She quickly becomes a favorite of the people. Neith's Arrow, their own future empress

-Thankfully, with the Southern Continent having such a casual culture, nobody minds Nesryn wearing riding leathers or sparring clothes around the palace. So long as she dresses up nicely for formal events, they couldn't care less

-She is able to spend a lot of time with her family, baking sweets in their kitchen

-Their sugared almond puffs can put even the palace cooks to shame

-Everything is good, peaceful, and happy

-When they attend a Peace Ball, Nesryn manages to find herself enamoured with the little Fae babies running around everywhere. Aelin and Rowan make some damn cute kids

-And Nesryn can't really help herself

-On the trip home, she gets a terrible case of seasickness

-But when it doesn't stop, even after being home for weeks, she and Sartaq start to suspect something is up

-And, sure enough, Nesryn is pregnant

-To say they are ecstatic is an understatement

-It isn't long before everyone in the palace knows

-Everyone congratulates them, even Arghun, who looks very slightly pissed off the whole time

-Sartaq is a bit of an overbearing mother hen throughout the whole thing, even though Nesryn promises him she's fine

-She spends a lot of time with her sister, because Delara has had four kids already, you know?

-And also she's craving sweets 24/7

-Nesryn actually goes past her due date, and that sucks because she feels like a whale

-At this point she's like "Sartaq I can't believe you did this to me"

-When she finally goes into labor, it's a blessing

-Duva is there, because despite her vapidness, she has had a baby and knows what Nesryn needs

-Delara doesn't get the message until later, and arrives right before Nesryn starts pushing

-With her sister and sister-in-law coaching her, Nesryn has the strength she needs to give birth

-It's a beautiful baby boy with his father's face

-Sartaq is so in love with his new son and with his amazing, incredible wife

-They name him Kasem, which means 'happiness'

-Kasem grows up with tons of aunties and uncles. He always has someone to watch him, no matter what time of day

-They take him to the mountains when he is six months old, in the middle of summer so he doesn't have to spend the night in the cold

-Kadara and Salkhi love the little babe a lot. They are gentle, even when he tugs on their feathers

-Borte is absolutely in love with her little nephew

-A year after Kasem's birth, Duva and her husband have a baby girl named Haya

-And when Kasem is two, Borte and Nesryn both become pregnant

-Nesryn spends most of her pregnancy in the mountains with Borte, and the two are practically joined at the hip

-Her second pregnancy is much easier, though she still has awful morning sickness in the beginning

-Borte gives birth first, to a baby girl she names Indra

-Nesryn is not far behind, having her second baby barely a week after Borte

-It's a girl as well

-She is named Dara, which means 'pearl of wisdom'

-And sure enough, little Dara is very wise

-She always seems to be very smart and mature for her age

-Around the same time Nesryn and Borte have their babies, Arghun's wife has their first child, a girl named Maleia

-Dara likes her cousins a lot, though she is always closer to Indra than Maleia

-In the coming years, more babies are born

-Borte and Yeran have another little girl named Varsha, and Arghun becomes a father to another daughter, who he names Vanida

-For Nesryn and Sartaq, they are content with their little family, for the time being

-Dara loves books a lot, and when she goes to her first Peace Ball, she becomes best friends with Aris, Dorian and Manon's daughter

-She is also the darling of the public. She loves people and attention at all times

-Kasem is a very confident little boy, often boasting that he can beat anybody at anything

-Needless to say, he gets a few lessons in losing graciously

-Kasem and Dara are best friends as well, and they love to be around their (much) older cousins and baking with their mother's side of the family

-When Kasem is eight, Nesryn finds out she is pregnant again

-Since it's been a while since her last pregnancy, this one is fairly difficult. She stays in the palace a lot and is tired all the time

-But she thankfully delivers a health baby girl she names Dhyana, which means 'meditation'

-She's only just getting used to having a new baby when...

-Nesryn finds out she's expecting again

-She isn't sure how to feel. She's happy for another baby, but she doesn't know if she's prepared to have two little ones at the same time

-But, she knows she's going to have a lot of help

-I would also like to add... Sartaq is an amazing father

-He is so very patient, with his kids and with others

-No matter what, he always makes time for them

-He grew up feeling distant from his parents, and he doesn't want that for his children

-And Nesryn, she's a great mom

-She's definitely the fun parent

-The kids love to watch her because everything she does is just so mesmerizing

-And she's a great singer

-When she's on the mainland, people often ask her and Rowan for duets because they have amazing singing voices and they sound pretty good together actually

-But she always sings her kids to sleep

-And every single time Sartaq falls in love with her all over again

-No matter what kind of day they've had, whether they argued or they just cuddled all day, Sartaq can always count on hearing her sing to their kids

-The next baby they have is a little boy

-His name is Ronin, which means 'warrior'

-Ronin is the shyest of Nesryn and Sartaq's children

-He gets along well with Dara, because he likes to read and create

-The same year he is born, Kashin and his new wife have a baby boy named Haider

-Sometimes Nesryn will just find him wandering around the palace halls, lost in his own little world

-Two years after Ronin's birth, Hasar and Renia announce that they are going to have a baby

-The man who did it is kept a closely guarded secret, but nobody really cares about him

-Hasar and Renia have a baby boy named Rangsey

-And Nesryn... wants another baby

-Which she never thought she'd say, seeing as she has four kids already

-But Sartaq agrees wholeheartedly, and Nesryn finds herself pregnant again

-This pregnancy... is tough

-It's the hardest one she's ever gone through

-She's terribly exhausted all the time, sometimes even so tired she can't tuck her kids in. Sartaq is not a good replacement singer

-Thankfully, though, the terrible pregnancy leads to an easy birth, with a beautiful, healthy baby girl at the end

-This baby is the last one Nesryn will ever have. She is sure her family is complete

-The baby is named Akira, which means 'intelligent and bright'

-Akira is a little warrior. She adores watching the soldiers train

-When she is two, her family travels out to the plains of the horse-people to visit Kashin's new son, Kiran

-After taking one ride on a horse, Akira never wants to leave

-Of course, she must, but there are a lot of tears that day

-All the kids grow up in a palace full of aunties, uncles, and cousins everywhere

-They are adored by the people, and by their parents

-And every time she looks at them, Nesryn can hardly believe how far she's come

-A lowly guard patrolling Adarlan's slums, and suddenly she's in line to be the empress of the strongest empire in the world, with an incredible husband she loves with her whole heart and five amazing children

-Nesryn has found her place

-In the story Worlds of Fire and Darkness, Kasem is 18, Dara is 16, Dhyana is 9, Ronin is 8, and Akira is 5. There are so many other kids but know they range from 22 to 3.

Ninjago Season 6: Tiger Widow Venom

What if Nya wasn’t hit from the venom....

“C’mon, Flintlocke! Take your shot!”

Jay ducked behind yet another rocky pillar and prayed that the pirate would finish the job. However, he felt the air escape him as the pillar exploded, sending Jay flying to the ground, the Sword of Souls slipping from his grasp.

Beyond the ringing in his ears, he could hear Nadakhan and Delara cheer over their victory. Jay lifted his head and watched as Nadakhan swung her around in joy before turning his attention back to the ninja.

“No,” Jay croaked as he slowly pushed to his feet. His eyes fixed themselves on Nya, whose once beautiful blue eyes now glowed green, meaning her body was no longer hers. Nadakhan smiled but didn’t attack, waiting for the ninja to bring him his sword.

Jay limped across the dirt with a scowl, trying not to look at the shiny statues that were scattered across the battlefield. He may be the only ninja left, but he was not about to quit. Not when he was still breathing.

C’mon Flintlocke! Jay shouted in his mind. Do it now!

“Have you come to surrender, little Jay?” The genie cackled. Jay grinded his teeth and raised his sword. Nadakhan cracked both of his knuckles. “I’d take that as a no.”

Jay raised the sword and charged, knowing very well this was the end for him.

Nadakhan raised his hands and said “I WISH-“ just as Jay came within a foot of him, but then choked on his words as glass exploded on him.

Jay froze, sword still over his head.

The djinn fell back, gasping for air. “Tiger...widow...venom?” He coughed. The ground shook and Jay watched in horror as the floating land masses surrounding the temple began to crumble and fall back onto Ninjago.

With a gasp, Nya regained control of her body. She looked around, shocked of the disaster that was before her.

One by one, the golden statues melted away, revealing the ninja that once stood there. They sat up with glee. “The venom!” Kai called out. “It’s working! His magic is failing!”

Cole saw Jay was standing by the hurt djinn, his eyes wide and sword by his side. “Jay! Now! Make your wish!”

Jay... Nya thought as she returned her gaze back to the blue ninja. This was it, this was his victory. Then why hasn’t he...?

With a clang, the sword slid out of Jay’s hands as he collapsed onto the ground.

“Jay!” Nya shouted. She grabbed the front of her huge gown to prevent her from tripping as she dashed to Jay. Kneeling next to him, she pulled him to his back, so that he was laying face up on the ground.

“Nya....” He rasped, his eyes fluttering to stay open. Nya’s hands went to her face when she saw the oozing splatter of venom on his chest, mixing with the cuts he bore.

“No no no....” Nya grabbed at Jay and lifted him closer to her. “No, you can’t be, please-“

Jay lifted his arm weakly to Nya’s face. “Its...it’s okay,” he fought his heavy breaths to make out words, the sides of his mouth painfully twisting into a weak smile.

“No...” Nya cried. At this point, the others had joined her side, staring with wide eyes at the blue ninja as he fought his last few breaths.

From afar, Nadakhan choked on his own breath, but he knew he had won. With the pesky blue ninja dead, the ninja would have no more wishes left. Once the venom takes its course, there would be no stopping him! But his sword...the djinn eyed the sword besides the blue ninja. Clenching his teeth, he began to crawl towards it.

Tears were streaming down Nya’s cheeks. She was holding Jay’s head up as it continued to pale, his eyes once full of life and energy now only holding a reflection of the setting sun.

“This was supposed to be our happy ending,” Nya whispered down to Jay. Even in all his pain, he managed another smile.

“I saved you,” he croaked. “That’s a happy enough ending for me.”

Nadakhan was so close-all he needed to do was grab the sword and strike them all down-

Nya smiled down at her love, all awhile dropping her tears on his chest. She slid her hand into his.

Jay’s eyes fluttered, not expecting to feel her hand in his. He felt the energy drain from his body, but he made one last attempt to look up at Nya and say, “Your hand...I wish you had taken mine before....and nobody found that stupid teapot in the first place.”

Behind Nya, Nadakhan froze, hearing the dying wish.

The girl did not notice the djinn as she nodded, brushing his hair to the side. “I wish that too, with all of my heart.”

And with that, the head of the Master of Lightning fell back, his lifeless hand slipping out of Nya’s.

With a cry, Nya pulled Jay’s body close to her, sobbing uncontrollably, and because of such she almost didn’t hear the djinn from behind her.

“Your wish....is yours to keep.”

Dress Circle Left

Monday 25th November 2019: 6.10pm - 10.05pm (4 hours)

This was my first official shift as an usher for the festive season at The Old Vic, which officially began with the opening of A Christmas Carol on Saturday 23rd, and is due to end on January 18th.

I surprised myself by being on time today and even called my brother as soon as I got out of Waterloo station to tell him I had 5 minutes to spare! In that time, I took myself up to the top floor of the theatre to hang up my hat and coat and put down my bag. I probably reapplied my lip gloss too before finding myself down by the bar for the briefing.

Tonight’s Duty Manager was Wabriya which made me so happy because I’ve got proper fond memories of working with her when I done the Front Line work experience programme around this time last year. She was so sensitive and proper took time to talk to me about my anxiety and the health troubles I was going through at the time. I can only be grateful I made it outta them dark times. They all started coming back to me though while I watched the beginning of the play, but I’ll get to that...

So Danny was present in the briefing, I ended up sat in the stool that she was planning to plonk herself on but she let me cotch there, which I done until after Wabriya’s come up the stairs now and I seen people queuing up to go sign themselves in and grab their copy of the briefing sheet with the seating plan on the back of it and that. I was literally just following suit, not really knowing or remembering exactly how that was meant to work so I just watched what the people in front of me was doing and picked it up lol.

Found my name on the register, wrote my signature next to it as well as the time that I arrived at the theatre, then picked up a briefing sheet and found my name next to the position I’d be posted in tonight: Dress Circle. At first, I was bare confused cah I thought everybody got their own unique briefing sheet with details about their position and that, but actually, it’s a general one with everybody’s roles available for everybody to see. The thing that’s unique to each position is the evacuation card, with how to follow the procedure correctly for example in the case of a fire.

This was my first proper palava of the night you know. I couldn’t find no card for the Dress Circle Left position, so I just picked up the one for Stalls Left lol but Delara - who musta been behind me in the line to sign in - said out loud how she can’t see stalls left, so I told her oh is it this one then, tryna clarify if that was the same position as my ting, but it’s not. So I gave this evac card to its rightful owner and decided to take myself off to Danny and Wabriya to let them know I can’t find the card for my position and try figure out what to do from there.

I was already nervous so this lil blip had me feeling a bit like a clown as if it was my mistake, but they let me know that actually, they hadn’t got round to printing off alla them for all the positions yet, so once I’ve gone into the theatre the Supervisor or someone will come round with what I need, so I cooled off and just stood to Wabriya’s right as she then soon after called out for everybody’s attention so we could get started for tonight’s briefing. It went real silent in the room and even Wabriya was took aback becah she’s used to people still chatting over her but the room was full of newbies like me! New beginnings for a bunch of us then.

Wabriya was so lovely though, she literally started off her whole ting wid a lickle message that aint no question silly so please ask away basically and I really respect and appreciate that, especially since she keeps reiterating it, as well as noticing and encouraging it. That’s how I know I’m in a safe environment where I can adjust and adapt to a new work culture without feeling like a burden on anybody’s shoulders.

Management has absolutely interweaved this understanding into the delegation of positions for all the ushers by pairing up a rookie wid a veteran, as I experienced during my shadow shift on November 8th. Can’t remember the girl’s name who I was with but she were real lovely. We was right up at the front of the stalls on the penultimate night of the previous play Lungs, which I proper remember cah that Doctor Who actor who come after David Tennant was all up on the stage before incoming, practicing his breathing techniques and that with his partner performer.

Anyways, my buddy tonight was Rebecca. I knew her face cah when Wabriya was announcing the whole buddy system on each level, she said my name and Rebecca’s so I just followed her line of sight to who was nodding in response to what she was saying about the Dress Circle, then once the briefing ting was done I went up to her and said sutten like oh are you Rebecca, I’m Abondance dadadada and we ended up going downstairs to get ‘our stuff’ so I’m all asking what’s that, like radios and stuff? And she’s like yeah, and I’m telling her I’m nervous and she’s like why and we just get talking and she’s bare reassuring and that so I don’t even feel no type of way like, she’s real lovely to get on with.

We’ve got our radios, programmes and floats now - Rebecca accidentally told Louis she’s DC Left when she was actually Right, which confused him so we just sorted it out when we got to our level, and she really stuck by me to make sure I had all my things in order. She was communicating with the DM and that on the radio when stuff was going wrong for me like my radio not making no noise through the earpiece and my mic not working at all and the earpiece just resisting going around my ear at all! For a few moments I actually experienced a piece of insecurity about the size of my ears but I literally stopped myself from whining about having ‘monkey ears’ before the words could come outta my mouth cah I don’t ramp wid speaking no evil uno... Madting.

This palava was deffo getting to me but whatever, I was just getting a bit flustered because I didn’t know what to expect and there was bare action on the radiowaves and patrons started coming in to take their seats but Rebecca and Louis’ all tellin em we aint open for dat yet after he’s come round with my evac card and eventually had to shoot off again. Mince pie usher’s about wid his uniform on aswell, his name was Tom, bless him. We had a lickle convo before he buggered off to Dress Circle right after incoming’s begun.

I’m more confident now cah it’s been explained to me that I’m only in DCL for the first act of the play, then I’ve familiarised myself with the seating plan in my section; made sense of the fact that an usher’s gonna come during the interval to sell ice creams, alongside me tryna flog the programmes and playscripts then relieve me of my duty there; then I’ll take her float that’s separate to mine and return the ice creams to the freezer on the top floor; go cash up in the foyer/office then basically linger round there; have a break before the show’s over; then do the charity bucket collection ting before we debriefed and it’s hometime now.

Gave a few patrons plastic cups to replace their wine or water glasses and just left them under my seat - didn’t really get no time to take them to the bar but Rebecca advised me to jus leave dem dere anyway

Left the glove Louis gave me atop of the bucket containing the orange hi-vis for evac, with the plastic bag for collecting rubbish at the end of the show - but this was for whoever was relieving me init so I never had to bother about using that tonight

A lady come up to me to say her seat number didn’t exist in the Atkins box so I’m all radioing Rebecca to come help me and Wabriya’s ended up telling Helena I think her name is to come through and pattern the situation, borrowing my briefing sheet to do so

She chucked me a satsuma dat had fallen on da floor after dat and I ate it after the play began, jus plonking da peel in one of dem wine glasses lol

Sold 3 programmes, no playscripts - my first customer during incoming was like you’re so accommodating when I told her I got change for her £20 note, bless her

This guy called me over to him during the play just to ask if he could hear my radio. I didn’t understand it at first cah I thought he was a senior staff member I didn’t know or something but he was just being rude about a noise that weren’t even coming from my radio - but when it had gone off a bit earlier he did actually shush me... Told Rebecca and she’s like you’ll get a lotta rude people, jus brush dem off kmt

Misdirected a don and his daughter to the toilets when he asked me where they was lol I literally just blagged it saying they’re out there on the bar, then realised I was wrong for that cos I didn’t actually know so I just radioed to Rebecca to ask where they are after waiting a minute cah I could see her on the other side of the DC actually talking to a patron so pounced onto my mic soon as I seen she been freed up. She told me right at the top or the bottom of the staircase, so that’s what I told every other patron then I apologised to my man when he come back and he was like it’s alright, bless him. I felt even badder cah him and his bredrin was the only other black people in that part of the theatre until I seen a mix race family come in much closer to the show starting, ahh.

Cashing up ran over by a long time, making me miss my break. By the way Wabriya saw me copying Delara doing this just out in the open in the foyer and advised that for our own safety this should be done either at the very top floor or in the office, so there’s less risk of getting the money stolen off us cah tru say it ain’t in nobody’s job description to be defending us should sutten like dat occur lol. I remember dat golden rule from Papa John’s to be honest so it was a good reminder if I’m real.

After I’m done now I’ve asked Louis and Wabriya if I’ve still got enough time to grab a complimentary cuppa from Penny Bar downstairs and W’s like what time’s your break I tell her 9pm these times it’s coming close to 20 past by now and she’s like omg, paused from eating her din dins in her tuppaware which smell nice up by the way but it felt invasive to ask her what she were eating so I llowed it, she’s paused like omg take a break long as there’s someone in the foyer and Louis’ let her know like yeah we proper ran over time widdit so I’m like cool, go down grab a tea wid oat milk and dash about 5 demerara cubes in dat ting and sit down playing snake on my phone for like 5 minutes before it’s 9.30pm now and I gotta reach back, but not after checking out the toilet situation...

Wabriya spoke on it during the briefing actually. It’s an accessibility point so the language the institution uses around it is actually incredibly important. It’s gotta be descriptive not prescriptive, aka the cubicle/urinal loos instead of ladies/gents bathrooms, which are also different to a gender neutral toilet which is what it is becah it’s self-contained wid a sink and dat all inside da doors, so technically the access toilet for people say with wheelchairs is also gender neutral but yeah... So incredible to know there’s buildings taking such contemporary issues into account. Things have changed so much since I was here last year. I remember all the issues with the queues for the ladies due to a shortage of cubicles, now look.

Anyways I’m back in the foyer now and there’s a bitta confusion about who’s doing the charity collection and how that works after Wabriya’s let me know it’s illegal to shake the buckets as that’s considered begging. I was like rah and I let Delara take the buckets and took this opportunity to have a young catch up with my jigga Bee the security guard who I got talking to on my shadow shift, and she’s introduced me to David, whose face is deffo familiar from last year. He seems lovely. Lives in Enfield as well but’s a Harlesden bwoy originally and gots peoples in Kennington too. He likes it dere but da feds make him parro, I told him yeah they’re too rude round dere. He don’t like Danny at allll and’s telling me how the winter makes his mood so low, he proper don’t like dis place, don’t like talking to no one, nun ah dat. Made me so sad to hear still. He done a late shift, til 1.30am. I also met Emmanuel who’s currently rehearsing for The Red Envelope at Oxford House next month and I told him about Sister Souljah’s book The Coldest Winter Ever since we was talking about the power of doing creative work with prisoners and our ambitions to do so basically.

Bee finished at midnight. Told me she lives in Bromley so when I asked if they gets her a cab home if she finishes late she goes this is London, people don’t care how or when you get home you best take care ah yourself. The days the building closes at 2.30am she can be getting home like 4/5 in the morning and she got work the next day, can you imagine. Less than ideal boy. Mama’s hustlin and lookin tun up while she does so. Mmm. Heard her sayin how her hair’s so short, woulda have her lookin like real security if she was to back off dis hair. 

She didn’t recognise me at first I told her it’s probably cah I changed my hair. I still had dem blonde braids last time she seen me. Today it’s my brown Kelly Rowland wig. I’m probably not switching it up until Christmas if I’m real. I’m not comfortable in it yet but I understand this hair situation is more a matter of practicality for the convenience due to this new work pattern and protection due to the current and approaching weather conditions, so the stunting’s gotta tek a backseat, zimme.

After the debrief, where it felt good to hear Wabriya reiterate it’s a good shout to be asking questions, never feel silly, and big up us newbies for actually using our buddies and that, she heard us on the radios and observed us I guess. That acknowledgement done the little girl in me wonders even though it weren’t direct, u get me. My friend Millie from my first shadow shift was positioned as a onstage usher and we spoke a lickle piece today but didn’t sit together or nothing even though we both got the 341 together northsides. I believe she got off around Green Lanes/St. Anne’s Road, but true say I was in and out of sleep a lot, probablu from about just after Aldwych all da way to Tottenham really. My hat was all slipping off my wig aswell lol.

Felt a bit awkward about how I was gonna avoid taking da tube when dere was a bunch of ushers going that way including Delara - believe she said I look like Jenny from the block tonight LOL. Made sure I said thank you driver when I jumped off one stop after NPK then buss the walk to the front door in sutten sweet like 13 minutes. I was basically talking to God and praying in gratitude for all dem moments I was awake from when I jumped on the bus and then I come home to find Tatiana Tarot’s card of the day is the 9 of Cups (and Ecliptic Spiritualist received him reversed...):
